Words of Wisdom:
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. -Martin Luther King Jr.

Who I am
My name is Greg Dunn, and I'm a contract software developer. To call me a programmer would also be correct, but wouldn't explain the full scope of what I do.
What I do
I create software that increases productivity, brings information together intelligently, creates revenue, and just generally helps people do what they do a little better.
I've created programs to help people:
These are just a few examples of the projects I've worked on.
Maybe you've got some ideas that you'd like to see fleshed out and running on the computer you're using now. Maybe your business would be better served by a custom piece of software rather than trying to adapt your business model to someone else's software design. Chances are, I can help, or know someone who can.
How all this affects (or can affect) you
I created all of the above programs for different companies with different needs. Chances are, you don't need any of those specific applications, because you've probably got different issues that you need solved. You may think you're not interested in VBA, but if you have an application created in Visual Basic or any of the Microsoft Office applications, do you realize how powerful it is? If you did, you might want Word/Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint Automation. You may have thought that search engines were only useful for databases and websites, and not realized how helpful it would be to incorporate a search engine into your latest Macromedia Director project.
Do you have...
An idea for a program in your head? Maybe you have some notes on paper? If you'd like some help seeing it come to reality, let me know.
An old program that needs to be updated? A program that was written in BASIC, or a database written in Microsoft Access 2.0?
A custom Microsoft Access database that never quite worked right, and the developer has long since disappeared?
A Microsoft Access database that you'd like to have some new features in, like instantly turning the current record into a Microsoft Outlook appointment or email or task?
Some old CGI scripts that need some new life and new functionality?
A Visual Basic program that seems to drag on forever when you ask it to do something? Perhaps it wasn't optimized, or perhaps it wasn't written in the latest version of Visual Basic, which compiles to native code, making it much faster?
