The Apartment Disc

Overview:

This program was designed to showcase apartments in Memphis and the surrounding areas.

Client's Problem:

They needed a strong look and sleek, solid functionality. They wanted to be able to properly display the apartments on the disc as well as having a clean and user-friendly interface.

Our Solution:

The solution came in the form of a Macromedia Director application that is released every other month, and is distributed on cd-rom around the areas surrounding Memphis, TN. We created the look and feel from scratch as well as giving them an extremely powerful search engine that let people search for apartments by price, location, feature, or any combination thereof. We integrated PDF documents into the application for the printing of coupons as well as an apartment information sheet that included a map to the complex along with prices, amenity lists and nearby items of interest.

Clickable floorplans link to Quicktime VR movies of selected apartments
Historical information for each area listed
$50 rebate form for people who were referred by the Apartment Disc
Randomly selected advertisers displayed on coupon slider, along with printable coupons
Printable maps, amenity list, pricing and square footage information for all listed apartments

Project Partners:

The Danse Multimedia -- they did all of the graphics and layout/design on the project. Unseen Things provided the programming for this project, which included the search engine, integrating PDF documents and the overall functionality of the product.
